An Insight into the Distinguished Speakers at the Global IP Conference and Exhibition being organized by GOAL in New York City this June
NEW YORK, June 6, 2014: The Global Outsourcing Association of Lawyers (GOAL) is organizing the Global IP Conference and Exhibition in New York City on 18-19 June 2014. GOAL’s Global IP Conferences create a global forum for lawyers and legal departments, legal process outsourcing professionals and government representatives to network, develop business and discuss trends, issues and opportunities related to legal process outsourcing.
Below is a brief biography of some of the distinguished speakers confirmed for this conference:-
• Ozer Teitelbaum (Senior Director, Global IP Strategy & Senior Corporate IP Counsel, Alcatel-Lucent)
Ozer has been with Alcatel-Lucent and its predecessor companies for over 14 years. He is a seasoned intellectual property law professional with a wide range of experience including Patent Preparation, Prosecution and Securing IP rights, Analyzing industrial/marketplace trends and commercialization of innovation, Monetization of IP, IP Acquisition, Licensing and Negotiations and Management of IP professionals and attorneys.
• Diane Plaut (Senior IP Counsel, Honeywell International)
Diane B. Plaut has over 16 years of experience practicing international intellectual property law. She has worked on subject areas like US prosecution and trademark clearance for various brands, IP matters, social media issues, advertising review, endorsement and sponsorship agreements.
• Raymond Parker III (Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property, Aptalis Pharma)
For nearly 26 years, Raymond has been primarily working on intellectual property protection matters, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. That practice includes firm and corporate experience including drafting and prosecuting numerous patent applications, managing trademark portfolios, managing domain names, undertaking opinion analyses, conducting licensing and due diligence assessments, counseling internal and external clients, managing adversarial actions, and managing and training other patent practitioners. He has also lectured extensively on an assortment of US and foreign intellectual property issues, including patenting of follow-on biological therapeutics and polymorphs, strategic managing of intellectual property assets, analyzing and critiquing of patent cases before the US Supreme Court.
